Founding ideas of Latin American and European Integration

This work has as its starting point the central idea that integration continues to be considered a valid instrument for the economic, political and social development
of Latin America, at a time when Latin American integration processes are stagnant,
despite decades of mandates for its implementation. And that, consequently, it is useful and convenient to investigate in a comparative manner through analysis of comparative regionalism, founding ideas that have allowed European integration to achieve important advances in its process in relation to the founding ideas that accompanied Latin
American integration with the support of the Economic Commission for Latin America
(ECLAC), observing which ones may be valid and cannot be postponed to relaunch Latin
American integration. This implies considering historical elements of the first ideas of integration in the Latin American and European continents, theoretical reflections
linked to integration and specific ideas of a founding Latin American and European nature that deserve to be analyzed and considered again. The work is voluntaristic and prescriptive since it wants to leave suggestions about the realization in Latin America of a multidimensional integration and recommend the convenience of working on it with basic concepts and experiences lived in the processes of the two continents from the first decades of their development by different  pioneers and protagonists, who in different contexts of regionalism have made conceptual contributions of valid foundational ideas that Latin American integration cannot postpone any longer.
