Don't tell me! Cali, its downtown, and its twists and turns
This compendium of literary essays shows some aspects related to the history of Cali, from its founding to the present day, based on architectural landmarks converted into tourist sites. Each chapter is developed from the respective epigraph, which indicates the thematic axis. At the end, as an annex, there is a chronicle about another historical landmark, La Calle del Muerto, to show its conversion into legend following clues that were not always true. This informal, well-documented and humorous investigation found that almost all tourist sites are related to the most powerful traditional families in the city whose fortunes originated from the ownership of common lands, especially the most expensive and best. located.
