Experiencias y aprendizajes para la reactivación de la integración latinoamericana: política institucional, migratoria y comercial

The aim of this book is to present institutional, migration and trade convergence policy proposals for the reactivation of Latin American multidimensional integration, based on comparative regionalism studies of experiences in Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America. These proposals make it possible to advance towards new priority actions in Latin American regional integration, by means of policies: 1) institutional, to advance in minimum conditions of effective operability, evaluation of objectives and functions of the existing regional organizations and promotion of the effective articulation of the different integration processes existing in the region, taking as a reference the experience developed in different regions of the planet, 2) migratory, 3) convergence of trade exchange, by analyzing the Authorized Economic Operator Program, which has the potential to generate competitive advantages for companies operating in Latin American countries, as an instrument for the liberalization of intra-regional trade in goods and the development of global and regional value chains. In this sense, it advocates directing Latin American integration agreements towards a new configuration of political, institutional, migratory and trade dynamics, at the national and international levels, distinguished by greater interaction between actors, both public and private, prior to decision-making.
