Informal street trade: an input for public policies: un insumo para políticas públicas

This document analyses the changes that have presented the informal economy reflected in the street commerce that is developed in the municipality of Bucaramanga and that has been contemplated as a socio economic and spatial problem in the different government plans, who have established policies and efforts to improve the quality of life conditions of street vendors and the recovery of public space among other topics. Promptly reviews the sociodemographic characteristics of street merchants, their places of concentration and the policies carried out by the state for the benefit of the city to finally project public policy guidelines that should be developed against the issue of informal trade for the city.
