The cooperative man

This work is a compendium of articles published by the author in numbers 184, 186, 187, 188, 188, 189, 190 and 192 of the Revue des Études Coopératives and represents one of the seminal works of cooperative thought. In it, the author delves into the roots of cooperative thinking, the moral and ethical foundations of the cooperative as the primary foundation of collective action and business efficiency. He gives life to moral means and ends, and brings them closer to the practice of associative daily life. It imprints human warmth and practical realism in each argument and makes reflection necessary. For this reason, the work has the virtue of capturing over time the most substantive conditions for the development of the cooperator and its approaches acquire more and more strength in an environment marked by market pressures that determine business decisions. Therefore, this text becomes an obligatory reference to guide the decisions and actions leading to the administration of the sustainable growth of the cooperative sector as an increasingly visible agent of the social economic system.
