Horizonte: Perspectivas globales sobre educación superior
El libro Horizonte: perspectivas globales sobre educación superior acompaña el lanzamiento del Plan Estratégico UCC 2026-2030 de la Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia, para consolidarse como una hoja de ruta para enfrentar los desafíos de un entorno educativo en transformación. El Plan surge de un proceso participativo, riguroso y multietápico, que integró instancias de gobierno, equipos técnicos, expertos nacionales e internacionales y a la comunidad universitaria, con el propósito de fortalecer la identidad cooperativa, la cohesión institucional y la pertinencia territorial.
La obra destaca la importancia de una universidad multicampus integrada, capaz de convertir su diversidad regional en valor colectivo mediante estándares compartidos, innovación pedagógica y una visión común. Asimismo, resalta la formación a lo largo de la vida, el bienestar integral, la calidad con flexibilidad, la analítica del aprendizaje, la gobernanza distribuida, la sostenibilidad financiera y la articulación con actores sociales y productivos como ejes fundamentales para el desarrollo institucional.
A través de las contribuciones de siete expertos internacionales, el libro ofrece una mirada comparada sobre los retos contemporáneos de la educación superior, aportando criterios para la toma de decisiones estratégicas y la mejora continua. Estas reflexiones fortalecen la capacidad institucional para anticipar escenarios, diseñar trayectorias formativas pertinentes y consolidar un modelo universitario moderno, sostenible y solidario.
En conjunto, la publicación busca convertir el horizonte estratégico en transformaciones visibles, verificables y sostenibles, situando a la comunidad universitaria como protagonista del cambio y proyectando el impacto social de la Universidad en los territorios y en el país.
