Comercio sostenible, migraciones y vínculos transatlánticos en la integración regional latinoamericana

El objetivo central del tomo 26 de la colección Gridale es examinar, desde una perspectiva comparada y multidisciplinaria, cómo la integración regional latinoamericana puede reorientarse frente a un entorno internacional marcado por crisis superpuestas, reconfiguración geopolítica, agendas ambientales más exigentes y presiones migratorias crecientes. A partir de los casos de la relación interregional Unión Europea y América Latina, la Comunidad Andina, el Mercosur y la Alianza del Pacífico, el libro analiza en qué medida el comercio sostenible, la gobernanza multinivel y la movilidad humana pueden convertirse en palancas para un desarrollo más inclusivo y sostenible en la región. En un primer eje, los capítulos sobre la relación trasatlántica y regulación ambiental muestran cómo el Pacto Verde Europeo y las nuevas medidas no arancelarias tensionan los vínculos birregionales, pero también abren espacios para renegociar asimetrías, diversificar alianzas y construir agendas compartidas en materia de clima, desigualdad y seguridad económica. Un segundo eje se centra en los desafíos internos de la integración, al estudiar el desempeño de la Alianza del Pacífico frente a la Agenda 2030 y el papel de la paradiplomacia de los gobiernos subnacionales en la reconfiguración de la gobernanza regional. El tercer eje aborda la reconfiguración hemisférica a partir de la política migratoria de Estados Unidos, el papel estratégico de las remesas en las cadenas de valor regionales y las luchas de las personas migrantes por el reconocimiento de sus derechos en clave de derecho cosmopolita. En conjunto, el tomo 26 propone repensar la integración latinoamericana no solo como compromiso normativo, sino como instrumento operativo para articular comercio, desarrollo sostenible y protección de derechos, de modo que se pueda fortalecer los vínculos transatlánticos y la resiliencia regional.
